Jamiesen Borak is the son of a snake oil salesman and a human rights activist, which makes him a natural fit for a comedy writer. He grew up in Connecticut and studied the lucrative craft of screenwriting at Emerson College. Thanks to the magic of Twitter, he landed a job with Bill Lawrence (creator of “Scrubs”) while still in school. He’s since worked in various writers rooms and was a finalist in the Nickelodeon Script First program.
Jamiesen believes the best stories are ones that aim to reveal a great truth about humanity — before they undercut it with joke.
Also, he wrote a movie about a duck that won’t fuck.
